PRESS RELEASE – For Immediate Release

Pennsburg, PA – Pedrick Sitework Contractors, LLC has been awarded the contract for Sitework at the Central Bucks East High School Expansion and Renovation.  The General Contractor for this project is King of Prussia-based Boro Construction.

The $1.75 million dollar contract award to Pedrick Sitework Contractors for site preparation represents a portion of the overall $28 million renovation of the existing school on Holicong Road and the 30,000 square foot addition which will be used to house a new science and technology center.

Sitework for the project began in October.  The total expansion and renovation is expected to take three years.

Pennsburg, PA – Pedrick Sitework Contractors, LLC has been awarded the contract for the Norfolk Southern Railroad Transportation Hub in Pottstown, PA.  Pedrick Sitework will perform the Sitework preparation for the project which is located on the former Bethlehem Steel Site, now known as the Pottstown Industrial Complex.  The General Contractor for this project is Polivka International.

Pedrick Sitework Employees completed training and Certification in Roadway Worker Protection/Contractor Safety program for work on or around Norfolk Southern Railroads.

Norfolk Southern Railroad operates 21,000 miles of rail in 22 states and will be utilizing this new facility to combine rail and truck transportation. The project is expected to be up and running by Spring 2011.

Pennsburg, PA – Pedrick Sitework Contractors, LLC has received a Merit Level Award of Excellence from the Eastern PA’s Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. at their 20th Annual Awards of Excellence Event.

Pedrick Sitework’s project, The Stryker Brigade Combat Team New Field Maintenance Shop in Graterford, Pa received the Merit Level Award for Excellence in Construction for the Heavy Construction – Sitework in the under $5 million category.

The entries for this year’s Merit Awards of Excellence program were judged by a team of 44 industry professionals representing a cross section of architects, engineers, commercial real-estate owners, developers, and industry leaders. Teams of judges reviewed the submissions and visited each of the sites to determine the winners.

The Stryker Brigade sitework project contained a fueling area for vehicles, 53-inch concrete loading ramp, bridge/culvert construction and parking area. The installation also included sidewalk and curbing, water, sanitary sewer and construction of two storm water detention facilities.
